This is an ORIENTATION tool, not an official scoring or classification tool. Every class gets verified for real at the scale and the lane by a certified tech inspector at an actual event — that inspection is the only result that counts. Don't assume this tool's output survives contact with that inspector; bring your own paperwork, spec sheets, and a tape measure.

MECA classes by clamped amplifier power and woofer cone area — a different system from dB Drag's Street divisions above, and this tool does not compute it.
Honest gap: two different secondary sources found this session gave two DIFFERENT formulas for MECA's pressure class number — one using cone area (in²) plus measured wattage, the other using fuse amperage × 10 plus cone area. The primary-source MECA rulebook PDFs would not extract cleanly enough to confirm which is current. This site sells itself on verified, sourced math, so it does not guess here — it links out instead.
