UNCONFIRMED FOR THIS GENERATION: a Premier-trim (Bose) owner thread places the Bose amp as a single unit mounted inside the RIGHT REAR QUARTER PANEL, in front of the taillight, behind the carpet — a precise location distinct from the sister 9th Gen (2016-2024) page's own confirmed amp location (also right side of trunk, but described slightly differently — rear of the wheel well there vs. front of the taillight here, suggesting a specific position shift between generations even though both are 'right side of trunk' broadly). Chevrolet's 2013-2015 catalogs list a Pioneer system and no Premier trim (Premier and Bose arrive with the 2016 car), so this amp position describes the 2016+ car and the 'position shift between generations' reading does not hold; owner sources put the 2013-2015 Pioneer amp in the right rear of the trunk.
