What we researched for this specific generation: where an enclosure actually fits, what the factory speakers are, how the factory audio is wired, and which real builds and commercial products exist for it. Confidence badges say how well each figure is sourced — this is research, not manufacturer spec.
Body styles covered: 4-Door Crossover
These are researched envelopes, not a guarantee. Measure your own vehicle — the numbers here tell you what to expect, not what you have.
| Location | cargo area behind the rear seat |
|---|---|
| Outer bounding box | No maker-published or independently measured cargo dimensions found (width between wheel housings, floor length, height, opening, liftover all absent from every maker document read). |
| Known obstructions | Nissan's 2014 equipment table lists a temporary spare tire "Under cargo area floor" as standard (the Family Package "deletes spare tire"), the Divide-N-Hide Cargo System and four floor-mounted cargo tie-down hooks; no wheel-housing or liftgate obstruction is documented. |
| Location | cargo area behind the optional third row |
|---|---|
| Outer bounding box | No maker-published or independently measured cargo dimensions found. |
| Known obstructions | The optional third row, upright, takes the front of the cargo area; the space behind it is the 9.4 cu ft Nissan prints. Nothing else documented. |
Sizes and depths below are what research turned up for this generation. Confirm against your own vehicle before cutting or ordering — trim levels vary.
| Factory speaker size | Nissan's press kits give speaker counts, not sizes or positions |

| Factory amp / premium audio | Nissan press kits (Audio, Navigation and Connectivity rows). 2014: S "AM/FM/CD w/ 4 speakers"; SV "AM/FM/CD w/ 6 speakers"; SL "Bose audio system w/ in-dash CD changer ... 8 speakers" in the specs table, while the same kit's overview says "nine speakers" (conflict). 2015: the same S "AM/FM/CD w/ 4 speakers", SV "AM/FM/CD w/ 6 speakers" and SL Bose "8 speakers" rows. 2016: same 4 / 6 / Bose rows, Bose "8 speakers" in the table and "nine speakers (SL)" in the overview. 2017: S 4 speakers, SV 6 speakers, Bose "9 speakers, 7.0-inch display" optional on SV and standard on SL. 2018, 2019 and 2020: the same 4 / 6 / Bose 9-speaker rows (Bose optional on SV, in 2018 as part of its Sun and Sound Touring Package, and standard on SL). Nissan's press kits, "Volume (cubic feet)" rows, unlabelled US cubic feet: 32.0 cu ft with the second-row seat upright in its rearmost position (2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 kits), 70.0 folded; 9.4 cu ft with the optional third row upright (2014-2017 kits). The 2018, 2019 and 2020 kits print 39.3 for the second row upright in its "forward most position" (a different measurement, not a larger cargo area) and 70.0 folded. The 2017 Rogue Hybrid prints 27.3 upright and 61.4 folded. These are luggage ratings, not box dimensions. No cargo width, length, height, wheel-housing width, opening or liftover row appears in any of the seven kits read (2014 to 2020). Nissan's comparison of the 2017 Rogue Sport and Rogue gives the smaller Rogue Sport "up to 22.9 cu. ft." with the second row upright and "up to 61.1 cu. ft." folded: the Rogue Sport is a different vehicle sold in these years, and this page is not for it; nor is the Rogue Select that EPA lists beside the Rogue for 2014 (the previous body). No box made for a 2014-2020 Rogue was found from the box makers checked. Measure your own cargo area before cutting wood.
Nissan's 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 press kits print "w/3rd row upright" 9.4 cu ft (unlabelled US cubic feet) for the optional third row. No third-row figure was found for 2018-2020. A luggage rating, not box dimensions: no cargo width, length, height or opening appears in any kit. No box made for a 2014-2020 Rogue was found from the box makers checked.

Measure your own vehicle. Trim levels, factory subwoofer options, and mid-generation changes all move these numbers, and a box cut to a researched figure that does not match your truck is wasted wood. Where a badge reads Unconfirmed, treat the value as a starting point for your own measurement, not as an answer.
