What we researched for this specific generation: where an enclosure actually fits, what the factory speakers are, how the factory audio is wired, and which real builds and commercial products exist for it. Confidence badges say how well each figure is sourced — this is research, not manufacturer spec.
Body styles covered: 4-Door Sedan
These are researched envelopes, not a guarantee. Measure your own vehicle — the numbers here tell you what to expect, not what you have.
| Location | trunk, through existing opening |
|---|---|
| Outer bounding box | No independently measured trunk dimensions found for this generation. Published box footprints are lower bounds on the cavity, not the cavity: Ground Shaker 'BLACK 12" SINGLE PORTED SUB BOX, FITS 01-26 TOYOTA CAMRY': Height 13 1/2", Length 29", Top Depth 13", Bottom Depth 17" (labelled by Ground Shaker), 2.33 FT^3, slides up against rear seat. Super Crew Sound, Zenclosures and Sound Off Audio print a volume and mounting depth but no outside dimensions. |
| Known obstructions | Super Crew Sound: foam piece under the rear-seat carpet must be removed for its LE box; the LE box does not fit the SE. Toyota's Hybrid trunk is smaller (10.6 cu ft). |
Sizes and depths below are what research turned up for this generation. Confirm against your own vehicle before cutting or ordering — trim levels vary.
| Factory speaker size | Toyota gives speaker counts, not sizes. TacoTunes sells 2002-2011 front-door replacement kits in 6.5/6.75-inch and 6x9-inch (kit sizes, not proof of factory size). |
|---|---|
| Adapter bracket needed | yes |
| Factory speaker size | rear doors not documented in any source read (TacoTunes lists a rear-deck 6x9 adapter instead) |
|---|---|
| Adapter bracket needed | unconfirmed |
| Factory amp / premium audio | Toyota eBrochures. 2007: AM/FM CD with MP3/WMA standard on CE, LE, SE (speaker count not printed); 'JBL AM/FM 6-Disc In-Dash CD Changer ... 8 Speakers in 6 Locations' optional on LE, SE, SE V6, LE V6 and standard on XLE, XLE V6 and Hybrid; JBL 4-disc DVD-navigation also eight speakers in six locations. 2010 and 2011: base CD player 'six speakers'; JBL 'eight speakers' (2010: 'in six locations'). Toyota's 2010 release calls the JBL a 'Premium 440-watt JBL audio system'. No factory subwoofer is named in any Camry source read. Trim-by-trim availability for 2010 and 2011 was not parsed. |
|---|---|
| Adding subs without a head-unit swap | no 2007-2011 line-output / amp-interface source read |
Toyota luggage capacity with the rear seat up: 15 cu ft (Camry/LE), 14.5 cu ft (SE and XLE), 10.6 cu ft (Camry Hybrid) - a luggage rating, not box dimensions. No measured trunk width, height or depth was found for this generation. Super Crew Sound says its LE box needs the foam under the rear-seat carpet removed and does not fit the SE; Ground Shaker's 2.33 ft3 ported box 'slides up against rear seat'.
Outside links. Some are commercial products, some are owner builds posted on forums — the label says which. We do not endorse any of them.

Measure your own vehicle. Trim levels, factory subwoofer options, and mid-generation changes all move these numbers, and a box cut to a researched figure that does not match your truck is wasted wood. Where a badge reads Unconfirmed, treat the value as a starting point for your own measurement, not as an answer.
